Well, yes and no. May 21st turned out to be wrong. Camping has apologized and come up with a really, really date sometime in October. Meanwhile he's getting his ass sued off. No one I know is missing. But I don't get out much. I am confused as well, but it has nothing to do with camping. I'm just getting old.

Hee! Yes, you are off by a month! In the meantime, he has had a stroke and been hospitalized. He apparently can't talk well anymore, but he still insists on *The Day* being Oct. 21, he *mis-spoke* the 21st of May, apparently having mis-figured his fool proof Math! :-)

RD..Isn't that sad. People actually didn't pay their mortgages, took their savings and gave it to Camping. How is it possible that people can be so miserable in their life, that they would believe this non-sense.

To me it's just tragic. Very, very sad.

Grammar-phobe,

It's really sad, for those who took their entire life savings to put up bulletin boards because they trusted him enough that they were going with the Rapture. The really sad thing is that it's a cult. None of what he says us biblical even if you dismiss his dates. To follow him, although they follow him on the radio, they're instructed to leave their own church, and not participate in any other Bible study groups except the"approved groups" around their area. Because only he knows the truth. When Camping was asked if he had sold everything he had, his answer was" why would I do that?" I'd need some place to live if my calculations are wrong.!

I'm almost certain that my laundry dryer is God, because it Raptures at least one sock every time I do laundry. The only way to get to Heaven is to climb in and stick it on high heat for one cycle.
