More Michele Bachmann Hypocrisy: Elvis vs. Elton John

At the November 2004 EdWatch National Education Conference, Bachmann said the "normalization" of homosexuality would lead to "desensitization": "Very effective way to do this with a bunch of second graders, is take a picture of 'The Lion King' for instance, and a teacher might say, 'Do you know that the music for this movie was written by a gay man?' The message is: I'm better at what I do, because I'm gay."

So, um, why is she seen in this campaign-trail video dancing to a song written by a guy who was once convicted of transporting a teenage girl across state lines for immoral purposes, and who later owned a club where he allegedly engaged in surreptitious videotaping in the women's bathroom, an appropriate accompaniment to a personal videotape he allegedly once made involving a woman not his wife and his own urine? And as for the singer of the song Bachmann is dancing to, shouldn't she be concerned that he famously enjoyed watching women wrestling after they'd stripped down to white panties, and also reportedly enjoyed asking strippers to wrestle his pet chimpanzee?

Is that really an appropriate song for Bachmann and her husband to dance to?

Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot. Elvis and Chuck Berry? Straight. So no harm done.

Indeed, indeed. Wonder if they recognize that 1 out of 10 in the U.S. population are gay? I guess no one in the Tea Party, the GOP or her husband is gay?

I find it interesting when he was giving a speech, he said "even if you have those thoughts or desires, you don't cross the line and act on it." I suspect Mr. Bachmann has his own internal struggles, and perhaps that's why Michele is so homophobic. She's goes running and screaming from a women's restroom because a nun and another woman tried to talk to her about her speech about homosexuality. Said she was being held captive. This is one sick couple.

The President, and First Gentleman? Heaven help us.

I get the feeling that there might be a Larry Craig-esque Mr. Bachmann scandal before summer's end. Imagine Michelle trying to explain THAT.

Is there a possibility that Mr. was straight until he found out what Michele was really like?

If women can become lesbians in the course of a heterosexual marriage, why not the other way around.....?

he is gay.

As in "happy?" ☺

The Bachmann's are homophobes, period. They will get support from other homophobes.

The saddest part is that nobodys sexual orientation is the cause of America's problems.

Go pray Michele, and leave it to the adults to take care of business.
