The world has changed these people have not. With the exception of Paul, they insist on doing the same things we have done for the last 40 years that have bankrupted the country, created the greatest wealth disparity in our history, and is destroying the American middle class. Why would any of them be desirable to lead our nation.

We need creativity, innovation and foresight which none of them possess. Huntsman comes closest but has to suck-up to the conservative base. Romney is a corporate raider and opportunist, Gingrich left politics in disgrace already, Bachmann and Santorum are clueless and Perry is in lala land (he is actually scary).

Obama with a congress behind him as opposed to what he has had to overcome in the first term is by far the best choice for the future of America.

Fla Pat,

I agree, almost all the way. If I were part of the GOP, Huntsman IMHO, seems to have more a grasp of reality of the situations rather than playing to some base, which is why he's clear at the back of the pack.

If President Obama had a congress that didn't block him at every step of the way to ensure he fails, and actually was willing to work with him, our country would be on a much better track.

Before Obama took the oath of office, the dark forces that are the GOP were lighned up against him doing all they could in an effort to make him fail.....

From the Messiah of the GOP, Rush

From the deputy Messiah of the GOP, Beck...

And it was from America. Progressive movement in America. Eugenics. In case you don't know what Eugenics led us to: the Final Solution. A master race! A perfect person. …. The stuff that we are facing is absolutely frightening. So I guess I have to put my name on yes, I hope Barack Obama fails.

Looks like a rereg has come by.

The conservative movement has become less pragmatic in the last thirty years. It has nothing left but reactionary rhetoric that has divided us into two angry camps. That is why we see no real issues being discussed by the conseratives all we see is stale words about morals, free markets and less taxes as the only things they will mention.

wash, rinse and repeat. They found the instructions for their arguments on the back of a shampoo bottle.

Pat #1 agree, a little cooperation would have gone a long way, but the tone was set the first month when the Rep shouted out Liar at the SOTU address. I think Huntsman is the only one with a good sense of the rest of the world as far as foreign relations are concerned, Newt just about started a war the other day with his big mouth re: invented Palestinians regardless of whether he is right or wrong.

I could only watch a little more than the 1st hour last night before I had had enough. If you want to sell me a new car, the worst way is to insult the one I'm driving. I am also really offended by the mis-information used to attack the President. Romney for instance and his comments about Obama and his ownership/management of the GM bailout. Bachman is just noise on the stage. Just more of the same old same old and nothing to entice me to kick the tires or even come close to opening the door for that new car smell, it just ain't there.
