School officials and police are investigating after a teacher and teacher's assistant were accused of duct taping a student’s mouth shut in their special education class Thursday at a Sacramento elementary school.
The boy's parents say the alleged incident has taken its toll on their son but added the principal has apologized to them.
"He's pacing the house, biting his nails, asking questions like, 'Am I in trouble?'
Last night (Thursday), the school district received information about two employees who may have used inappropriate disciplinary measures with a student in school. The Sacramento City Unified School District acted immediately in response to these types of allegations, removing the employees in question from campus and placing them on administrative leave pending a full investigation.
