Vastie Coleman, 27, has been charged with injury to a child with serious bodily injury after after severely abusing her 4-year-old son for wetting his pants in the car.

The Daily Mail reports that Coleman put her son in the bathtub after he wet his pants in the car and proceeded to whip him with a chord for over twenty minutes, until the boy stopped breathing.

The Daily Mail reports that one of Coleman’s daughters told investigators that their mother frequently thrashed them and had whipped her little brother with the chord because, “the belt was broken because mom kept whipping the kids so hard it broke into pieces.”
