he New York police officer who allegedly plotted to kidnap up to 100 women before raping, killing, cooking and eating them had recently posted an online dating profile in which he claimed to be a very different kind of person.

Gilberto Valle, 28, posted grinning photos of himself in uniform, along with promises that 'chivalry is huge with me,' on a recent OK Cupid dating profile.

Valle was arrested Wednesday by the FBI for the heinous plans after his estranged wife reportedly tipped off police. 

Gilberto Valle, a six-year police veteran who lives in a middle-class Queens neighborhood, allegedly used law enforcement databases to conduct surveillance on up to 100 potential victims.

Meanwhile on his OK Cupid profile he attempted to come across as a typical guy looking for the right girl to settle down with.

In September he listed his favorite foods as 'Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Japanese…. I'll try anything and am not picky at all.'

Elsewhere he listed his favorite book as Dr. Seuss' 'Green Eggs and Ham.'

'It's about a guy named Sam who makes this new breakfast and tries to get his neighbor to try it,'

But Valle was arrested because he was too close to carrying out the 'grotesque and disturbing' plots, Assistant U.S. Attorney Hadassa Waxman said. 

He had 'plans to kidnap, rape, torture, kill and eat the body parts of young women, some of whom the FBI has identified and they acknowledge knowing the defendant for a period of time,

He had said he wanted to put a woman on a barbeque, and cook her very slowly and try to keep her alive as long as possible.
