A domestic dispute between a lesbian couple ended in a murder suicide on New Year's Day.

Ana Flores, 24, called police to the Houston home she shared with 29-year-old fiancee Belinda Espinoza on Tuesday afternoon to report an argument - but when they arrived both women were dead.

Espinoza shot Flores in the chest before turning the gun on herself. It is not known what caused the argument.
