- The Justice Department is standing by President Barack Obama's recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board despite a decision from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit that found those appointments were unconstitutional.
“We disagree with the court’s ruling and believe that the President’s recess appointments are constitutionally sound," a Justice Department spokesperson said in a statement.
