A Swedish YouTube user has posted footage of a cat puzzled by the famous optical illusion entitled 'Rotating Snakes', in an effort to find out if other cats react to it the same way. 

The cute orange kitty with white paws is shown in the video pouncing on the circles as they moved in the periphery of its vision. 

'My cat can see the rotating snake illusion!' Exclaims the subscriber who goes by the name of Rasmusab on a post that has already attracted a staggering 1.5million views.

 

Calling other cat owners to do the same, Rasmusab proposes: 'If enough people do this we might be able to crowdsource some real evidence that cats can see visual illusion
